Adelson funds county GOP
With the state party a joke and incapable of raising money or executing the simplest tasks, megadonor Sheldon Adelson put his faith in the Clark County party, giving three quarters of what it raised since June.
Margin tax foes recruit ex-Mayor Oscar Goodman
Oscar Goodman's ex-campaign boss Tom Letizia produced three spots, going up Thursday, with help from car dealers and others who he says have donated $100,000 to a new PAC. Letizia says other donors inlcude "media, gaming and business." UPDATE: Letizia says Goodman didn't want to be paid for doing the ad, but that Letizia insisted. That's their story....

Culinary withdraws Brager endorsement
Strongly worded letter follows -- the union's political director, Yvanna Cancela, informed Clark County Commissioner Susan Brager she was removed from the group's endorsement list. It's a negativitypalooza in battle for the state Senate

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee also has made a TV buy, which starts Thursday. Fasten your seat belts.... Â Â
Poll for Flores campaign shows her close
Assemblywoman Lucy Flores, being pummeled on TV and given up for dead by many Democrats, is within striking distance of state Sen. Mark Hutchison, according to a poll conducted for her campaign.
State GOP reports zero contributions over $1,000
I've seen a lot of crazy things in Nevada politics, but the longest running embarrassment in the arena has set a new standard: The Nevada Republican Party reported raising nothing.
Dissecting the AG's debate, one of the more contentious in Nevada campaign history
Secretary of State Ross Miller and attorney Adam Laxalt went at it for an hour on Friday on Vegas PBS, with all the nastiness and ferocity that has marked the media campaigns bubbling forth in a strikingly contentious debate. Considering this has become the marquee race in Nevada, with the most spending and arguably the most at stake, I thought I’d take a look at some of what was said that requires exposition. (Frankly, I wish I had time to do this with all debates.)
