Yes, that's what Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael McDonald, who recently met with RNC Chair Reince Priebus, said was the problem for the GOP here in 2012.
“We had individuals come into this county and put down the people because they thought they knew better because they were from back East. They came into our women’s groups, they came into our leadership and they said, ‘Don’t worry about it, we know better than you because we’re educated’ — no."
Who else could he be talking about except the RNC operatives brought here to try to go around the GOP -- the so-called Team Nevada foks? But they infiltrated women's groups! My God, they were devious.
Here's the full snippet from the speech in Elko:
Nevada Republican Chairman Michael McDonald emphasized a need for reorganization within the Republican Party after a messy election year.
“The Republican Party for years has lost its meaning,” he said. “We have to set our ground. The minute we set our ground, we have to enforce it — along the way, we lost that. We let the other side define who we are and what we stand for. They got us off our game. We fell into the trap again this year.”
Division among different groups within the party led to bad blood and out-of-town campaigners did not help remediate the situation, he said.

“In Nevada, we drive the message home that we are part of a team. We’re all trying to find our way, so we include everyone in this party. It’s about unity. It’s about taking a stance. It’s about nothing getting out of our house and letting the other side use it against us.”
Members of the Republican Party should stand together as a family, he said.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I need you. This party needs you. Our governor (Sandoval) is going to need you. Our legislators need you. Remember, you’re Republicans first. More importantly, we’re Nevadans first, and that’s the message we have to drive home.”
I don't understand. Are they Republicans first or Nevadans first? And are they Americans last? So confused.

The Democrats need to be afraid. Very afraid.
