The two likely nominees for the right to succeed Rep. Joe Heck are in a dead heat, according to a poll taken by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. The survey, taken last week, shows synagogue chief Jacky Rosen ahead of state Senate Majority Leader Michael Roberson, 30 percent to 29 percent. Cruz calling possible delegates to Washoe GOP convention
Two days before the Washoe County Republican Party convention, Ted Cruz's campaign is calling delegates, who could go on to the state and then national conventions. 1. Very smart. No sign of Trump. (UPDATED: One delegate told me Trump is indeed making calls.) 2. Very painful to hear the Cruz operative mangle the name of the state. "It's time for Ne-vah-duh Republicans to unite behind Ted Cruz...." Ugh. Message attached here.

Joe Heck's seat, an unsurprising result based on his overwhelming name recognition that has often buoyed him early in previous contests. The survey, taken by Tarkanian campaign firm Chariot LLC, shows Tarkanian at 37 percent, followed by Assemblywoman Michele Fiore at 11 percent and state Senate Majority Leader Michael Roberson at 9 percent. The others candidates barely registered.

Reid rejects congressional candidate's claim that he told him not run because he's Muslim
If a candidate wanted to run for a prominent office and that person were a Muslim, in this Trumpian world, wouldn’t you advise the prospective officeholder of the attacks that would come?
Roberson: I'm not Rory Reid!
Congressional hopeful Michael Roberson has responded to a complaint filed by a friend of one of his opponents, claiming that he has done nothing wrong and insisting the complaint itself is deficient.
