Fiore in danger of losing business license
UPDATED, 7:30 AM, 11/5/15: Fiore asserted the government essentially put her out of business with regulations and fees in a goofy news release I posted below. She compared herself to Rosa Parks on the radio Thursday (I am serious.). And despite saying in July that she would welcome state inspectors and serve them treats, she attacked them this week, contradicting herself. Also below: The final state letter sent to her this week.

Trump indulges supporter at Sparks rally over debunked Iran conspiracy theory
During his appearance in Sparks on Thursday, Donald Trump said he had heard the same nonsensical conspiracy theory about Secretary of State John Kerry's daughter's connection to Iran -- the implication being that this affected his negotiations on the nuclear deal.
Judge Russell: Muth tax repeal petition "fails to meet the basic requirements of Nevada law"
Following up on his rebuke from the bench when he denied the tax repeal petition put forth by Citizen Outhouse's Chuck Muth, Judge Todd Russell has written a thorough evisceration of the attempt, setting forth language that jeopardizes the ongoing effort by the Political Arsonists Club of Nevada. Russell, in his decision posted below, essentially said Muth does not know the law and made no attempt to abide by it. It's almost as if he is still soliciting money for the tax repeal effort just to get....money.
Fiore attacks Nelson and Gardner, continues to show class and literacy
Early Saturday evening, Assemblyman Erv Nelson sent an email to his legislative colleagues, a brief but warm missive informing them he would be running for Mark Lipparelli's state Senate seat.
Laxalt and Sandoval disagree as AG joins sage grouse lawsuit
Attorney General Adam Laxalt this morning filed suit against the federal government's sage grouse land-use plan, going against the wishes of Gov. Brian Sandoval, who has been negotiating to prevent a listing of the bird.
She's baaaack!
I broke the news late Tuesday afternoon that Assemblyman Brent Jones and state Sen. Don Gustavson had written a letter urging Sharron Angle to run for the U.S. Senate to take Harry Reid’s seat that she failed to win in 2010.
New group spends $800,000 on pro-Heck ads
Here is the ad that One Nation, a GOP SuperPAC intended to be an alternative to the Harry Reid-driven Patriot Majority, is spending $800,000 on for the next few weeks in Nevada on behalf of Senate hopeful Joe Heck.
Do not ask for whom the bell Tolles: They all are ringing it for her
On Tuesday evening in Reno, a fundraiser for Republican Pat Hickey's anointed replacement for his Assembly seat will take place, with a guest list that indicates just how committed people are to ensuring that the seat is not turned over to an anti-tax zealot. I have seen some legislative fundraiser host committees in the South that are so stuffed with luminaries and lobbyists that they scream anointment. But the one that Jill Tolles, a longtime education activist and well connected member of the city's social elite, is having in Reno matches any of them.
