Who are these evil Consultants and the stooges they want to install as heads of the GOP?

The Ron Paul forces will not go gently into the good night as the Establishment tries to take over the Republican Party.

That's the message of an email that went out in advance of next month's Clark County GOP elections from a prominent Paul supporter and national convention delegate. Richard Bunce, who helped Cindy Lake, another Paulite, become chairman, and whose brother, Carl, ran the Nevada Paul campaign, this week wrote the email I have reproduced below and sent it far and wide.

This apparently comes down to a war between "Consultants" (his capital letter, not mine) and the "grass roots." You see, the grass roots folks (read: Paulites) stand on principle while the Consultants "want to make the most money possible."

And I thought the Paul acolytes were strong believers in capitalism? Says Bunce: "These are conflicting goals because in order to make the most money you can not have principles, you have to be able to change your positions and mind to whoever is writing the check that day."

There is more priceless stuff in the missive, including the revelation (to me at least) that re-electing Lake is a moral imperative to save us from drones (boldface is his): "The Drone industry doesn't want silly 'Wacko Bird' principled people that care about privacy and due process to stand in their way of making Nevada into the drone capital of America, and they are writing the checks today."

I see.

The "Wacko Bird" usage hearkens back to this John McCain controversy. And I suppose the "drone capital' reference is about this.

And I guess Bunce is referring to David McKeon as one of the Consultants' "stooges" to do their evil bidding.

Mark your calendars for May 15, folks. This election scene could be one for the ages. I hope no drones attack....

Subject: The threat to liberty

There is a battle raging for the soul of the GOP.

It is between the grassroots and the paid consultants.

The grassroots want to stand on principle and fight for a cause.

The Consultants want to make the most money as possible.

These are conflicting goals because in order to make the most money you can not have principles, you have to be able to change your positions and mind to whoever is writing the check that day.

So having leadership of a party that won't write you a check is completely unacceptable and something must be done.

The solution?

Simply attack the grassroots and attempt to throw them out, replacing them with people that will write checks to the chosen consultants and change the structure of the party from bottom up to top down, giving all the power to the paid consultants so they can more easily dictate to the states and counties how things will be.

The same consultants that made over 50 million off the Romney campaign while at the same time undermining everything the grassroots stood for, are the ones trying to push the grassroots out of the party and replace them with stooges that will change their mind and position with every check written.

The chosen battle ground for next fight are the coming Officer elections in Clark County.

The Drone industry doesn't want silly "Wacko Bird" principled people that care about privacy and due process to stand in their way of making Nevada into the drone capital of America, and they are writing the checks today.

So backing people to save them from the grassroots that oppose drones spying on people without warrants is quite the return on investment.

We aren't going anywhere!!

We are going to stand and fight for our principles and every right in the Constitution!!

We will show up and with a united front and send the message:

"We will not stand by and let our rights be trampled!!"

"We will not let Americans be spied on, arrested, or killed without due process!!"

We will show up and be heard!!!

Always with liberty,
Richard Bunce
